Anybody out there ever have to reload Docs to Go for a Palm T3? I had mine screwed up by another program I put on the device (and promptly removed) and even attempting to reload from scratch after doing a Hard Reset doesn't seem to have fixed it. FWIW, the main symptom is when I try to open a Sheet to go file, I get
Fatal Alert
MemoryMgr.c,Line:3651, Free Handle
and have to do a soft reset to get the device up again.
I'm currently emailing various potential sources for enlightenment (mostly Data Viz who wrote Docs to go).

Date: 2005-12-31 07:52 am (UTC)The files aren't the problem - I back up regularly to my computer and could restore the lot easily enough. It's that the closest thing I know of to do at the moment to restore the OS is the aforementioned Hard Reset, which is *supposed* to set everything back to where it was when it left the factory. And that didn't work, or at least not completely. If I don't get any other advice, I'll do another and this time trick the thing into restoring Docs to Go before restoring anything else, by temporarily renaming the backup folder and see if that helps. But right now I don't feel like the hassle, so I'll wait and see if anybody has any suggestions first. At least all the important stuff like my various book readers is still working, and that is what I got it for after all.
(Speaking of ebooks, did you finish your November challenge opus and is there any way I could download all of it in one go? It's FAR more convenient than trying to read the whole thing off the computer.)
