This puts him within a couple of miles of the LASFS.

In other news, Tom Paxton did a couple of sets at McCabe's last night, and Vicky and I made it to the second one. It was a most delightful evening, and I picked up a songbook and a CD afterwards. As usual, I can't walk into McCabe's without buying something. :)

McCabe's is very good at making sure that you leave only after you've bought something. :P I've spent countless hours in that place (especially with that yummy Weber mandola that they have that's way out of my price range).

Yeah, I got my rainstaff at McCabe's. Also, once CaliFur was over and I still had a bit of cash left, I finally bought one of the kalimbas I'd been eyeing for months. The gourd version - lovely tone.
