kayshapero: Cheshire cat vanishes, ending with the grin (Cheshire)

From the looks of things, one should NOT use photobucket.com for images on quizzes. It's got a download limit which fills up fast when something spreads around as much as an image link (especially if you've got several) after which all anybody gets to see is an error message. Not even a particularly informative message for anybody but the person who posted the quiz.

Just fyi, if you are looking for what seems to be a great deal on inexpensive for-pay hosting, check out http://www.nearlyfreespeech.net/ (http://www.nearlyfreespeech.net/) - they offer a setup where you pay them money in advance, and they debit you each month $1 for each GB of transfer that you used and $0.01 for each megabyte of storage that you used. I am not sure how big a pool of pictures a quiz is likely to use, or how often a popular one gets used, but you could store 100 10k images for a penny a month, and serve each of them 1000 times in a month for another dollar...

I'm not affiliated with them, not even as a customer, but they look to be a very interesting place for technically competent people to make stuff available inexpensively.
