kayshapero: (Sad)

And, as predicted, the game, Glitch has now shut down the world though the account pages and stuff are still up.  As is the forum, I gather, though I've not been there yet.  It's a pity - this is the first large multi-user game I've enjoyed enough that I probably would have stuck with it.  Between the creativity of the environment, and the opportunities for creativity on the part of the users, it was fun.  Anybody know of any other on-line environment type games that don't absolutely REQUIRE stomping around killing things to get anywhere?  This one favored cooperation, and the result was a nice large community.  Fortunately with the forum still up, the community is probably still out here.  So could be worse.  Anyway, I got a screencap of the fadeout at the end - click on the image below to see the full-sized version where you can actually read the lettering and stuff.  That's my avatar, Lisel Metaxa, in front of the butterfly pole.
