There's a line in it about a buffalo. The year I wondered this was 1976. I was thinking if such an illustration were unearthed, that would have been a good year for it. A Tenniel bison, found in the Bicentennial.
That may be the single worst pun that has ever occurred to me. Except for the poem I wrote about Ambrose Bierce being eaten by a lion. Fierce beast having a Bierce feast.
