Facebook is weird. Only reason *I* have an account is that some teen girl in Guatemala was able to set up a Facebook account with my hot,mail address as the only contact info. Which I found out about when my mailbox started getting flooded with her notifications.
After a several useless attempts to contact Facebook about it, a friend submitted a "change password" request (yes, anybody can do that!). And when the confirmation showed up in my hotmail, I went ahead and changed it and made a public post stating that she'd hijacked my email and could get the account back if she contacted me with a real email address.
After a week, I just nuked all the friends, photos and posts, and changed the personal info. Then made it private and left it sit.
Needless to say, I am less than impressed with Facebook.
