And I'm back from LOSCON. If there's anybody who was there and found a purple electronic pendant with "Kleiner Labs" on the back, please let me know. It fell off Saturday night in the dance or in one of the party rooms... I think... Also a blue YuGiOh deck box and deck belonging to a friend of mine has gone missing. I'm hoping someone turned it into the lost and found in con ops where I can check Thursday. Goodness knows some mighty... strange... things could be found there during the con.

Finally wore the costume I intended for the LASFS Halloween.. er.. Autumn Party. I meant to go, but it was raining and I was nice and comfy in the TV room with my husband watching a horror movie retrospective and...

Er, back to LOSCON. The costume was inspired by a techie newsgroup I sometimes frequent, which anagrams to "Scary Devil Monastery", so I wore a hooded red robe belted with a rope sash, and a pendant made from old dead eproms and a button with the coat of arms someone suggested for the group. Forgot my squeaky mallet but the big red lizard stuffy I was carrying to present to a friend worked fine as a LART. Whilst so costumed, Presented another button to Joe Zeff in front of the LINUX discussion panel and got the reaction I was hoping for when he recognized the outfit. :->

And Saturday night I got to fire off a rocket - XCOR's little "teacart" demo test stand which packs a nice punch. Go look at the website for cool stuff.
