Mar. 24th, 2003 11:49 pmMy copy of Goldilocks arrived, and the contents were as entertaining as I remembered. Despite the fact that a good-sized booklet came in the jewelcase with the CD, the thing proved to contain the same short history of the play repeated in a halfdozen or so different languages, instead of having lyrics to the songs. So I spent an hour or so today transcribing them. I'm still not sure of a few of the words, and about half of Heart of Stone proved unintelligible, but I can always check the library for the libretto.
Meanwhile, I may inflict a few of these on the next filksing (notably Bad Companions if I can get one or more folks who also know the song to accompany me - it just doesn't work out with only one singer.)
Better stop goofing around on the Internet and go to bed before I fall asleep at the keyboard.
