I wasn't there when it happened - I think Lee Gold was, at least she's the one who told me about it. I could very well have gotten it wrong. Anyway, the Saturday night dance was probably scheduled before the con under the assumption that the filking was in the Boston room, where it would have been if it hadn't been for the other sound effects. Leastwise nobody objected to the movement. Which certainly beats some other cons I've been to (you too, I suspect.) Good to see you folks!
