ataniell93 for the info and link - they've found a way to read the Oxyrhynchus Papyri using infrared techniques. If this doesn't mean anything to you (I'd never heard of them either before I saw this), just go click on the link. Loads and loads of ancient Greek and Roman poetry, plays etc... much of which has hitherto been lost.
