Furry Recommended List

As you may have heard by now, Fred Patten had a stroke and is in the hospital and will likely be there for some time. When I saw him yesterday he seemed to be in good spirits, though his voice is still slurred and he's got some paralysis. His mind's working just fine, thank God, and he can hold up a paperback and read. I already do the updates of the Furry Recommended List on the net, and he's asked me to handle the additions for awhile, so if anybody's got something they want to add either email me if you know my eddress or just leave a reply to this message and I'll get it.

Oh my goodness! Thanks for passing that news along. I have never been close to him, but I have been pleased to meet him at a number of conventions. Please convey my best wishes for his recovery the next time you see him, if it isn't too much trouble.

Sorry about that - see my next message for the hospital address. Far as I can tell he likes cards - at least he liked the one Vicky and I brought in to him.
