A calico kittycat, anthropomorphised for the occasion walks daintily into Callahan's Bar and places a dollar bill on the counter, and picks up a glass. She walks to the balk line, drains the glass, and says "To Forrest J Ackerman, Megafan and Founding LASFAN", and dashes the glass into the fireplace.

Yeppers, we've lost Forry. Not unexpected, still saddening. End of an era time.
