Weird critters, those. Someone at my local astronomical society gave a talk about sending them to space, once. (See this and this.)

No kidding. I've always found these guys fascinating - dry them out and they fold up into what look like microscopic piles of tarp, rehydrate them and they trundle around like nothing happened. :)
