I hope they ding those EMTs for negligent homicide at the very least.

I'm fairly certain it isn't, and I don't want that confirmed. Which is why I want to see them nailed to the wall publicly, give them serious jail time (the other inmates will take care of the rest) and ruin their careers permanently as a lesson to anybody else with similar attitudes.

"It's not about you. It's about the 12 other guys waiting to see whether you get away with it, and about sending them the message that no they won't and no they can't afford to even try."

I agree with this. I think it needs to have as loud a deal made of it as possible. There are too many people in this world who will do horrible things because they think they can get away with it and if they can get away with it then "it doesn't really matter". The only people I'll accept that as an excuse from are under the age of 5 because then you can tell them that it does matter and they'll probably listen. Anyone older than that should damn well know better even if they don't emotionally feel it.

I really hope these guys grow a conscience and realize what they've done on top of whatever punishment they receive.

Good heavens, that's hideous.

He could've been any number of people I know, by the look of him, and my place has looked as messy as that before. Christ, I wonder who those hateful excuses for medics would have thought was worth their saving. Not to mention how many times they'd done this before and got away with it cos there wasn't an operator still on the line.

I hope they nail them for negligent homicide, at the very least. Part of me wishes they'd literally nail their hides to a wall.
